The JST 08T-JWPF-VSLE-D is an 8-position plug housing from the JWPF series, designed for wire-to-wire sealed interconnects in automotive and outdoor equipment harnesses. A latch holder locks the mating pair against vibration, and the JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 rating means the mated assembly resists water ingress at levels comparable to IP67 — suited for engine compartments, lighting junctions, or washdown zones.
Contacts Are Ordered Separately — Plan the BOM
The housing accepts the crimp terminals through the rear, and the latch holder secures them in place. For a full harness build, add the receptacle housing (mates with this plug) and the female terminals to the BOM at the same time.
The 08T-JWPF-VSLE-D mates with the matching JWPF receptacle housing — the female counterpart that accepts the female crimp terminals.
Position Count Options in the JWPF Series
The JWPF series offers plug housings in 3, 4, 6, and 8 positions. The 08T-JWPF-VSLE-D is the 8-position, dual-row variant (2 rows of 4). The 06T-JWPF-VSLE-D drops to 6 positions in the same dual-row layout. For single-row builds, the 04T-JWPF-VSLE-S and 03T-JWPF-VSLE-S give you 4 and 3 positions respectively, all sharing the same 2.00 mm pitch, latch holder, and JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 sealing. The choice comes down to how many circuits your harness needs — the housing footprint scales with position count.
