The lone circuit means it serves as a dedicated power tap, a sense-line connection, or a single-wire board-to-cable link where a multi-position header would waste board space. Rated 3 A at 250 V, the single contact carries the full current ceiling of the XH series without the derating that comes from adjacent circuits in a multi-row header.
Through-hole termination with press-fit and solder — the pin's 0.134" (3.40 mm) post length fits standard 1.6 mm PCBs. The header mates with JST XH series crimp housings (e.g., XHP-1 or XHP-2) using the matching SXH-001T-P0.6 crimp terminal. The detent lock on the header provides audible feedback when the housing snaps into the shroud.
