It uses a 0.156" (3.96 mm) pitch, which gives enough creepage for the 250 V rating without forcing an oversized board footprint. The header is shrouded on one wall and carries a locking ramp for positive retention with the mating receptacle housing — the ramp clicks into place and resists vibration-induced disconnection. The housing is molded from UL94 V-0 polyamide (PA66), rated for -25°C to 85°C operating range. This covers most indoor industrial and appliance environments but does not extend to automotive underhood or outdoor sealed applications.
