The 0.071" (1.80mm) pitch is the critical board-layout dimension — it determines pad spacing and trace routing width between the two positions. The 3A rating at 22 AWG is a per-contact limit under the stated wire size — derate for smaller gauges or elevated ambient temperature above 25°C. The 300V rating provides adequate headroom for typical low-voltage signal or control circuits.
This header mates with the JST LEH series receptacle housing (order code LEHSS-A-xx, where xx is the position count). The receptacle accepts crimp terminals (LEHSS-T) for 22-28 AWG wire. The solder termination on this header is surface-mount, right-angle — no through-hole holes required. The solder retention feature provides additional hold during reflow, reducing tombstoning risk on the two small pads.
