J25MF-02V-K — 2-Position J2000 Receptacle Housing for In-Line Harnesses
That temperature range covers most automotive interior, industrial cabinet, and outdoor telecom applications where the connector sits unpowered on the shelf or sees moderate current rise.
4.00 mm Pitch and 2-Position Fit — What Drives the Board Layout
The 0.157" (4.00 mm) pitch on the J25MF-02V-K is wider than the 0.079" (2.00 mm) pitch of the JWPF-series 03R-JWPF-VSLE-S and the 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch of the NSH-series NSHR-03V-S. That extra spacing means the J2000 housing can accommodate larger-gauge crimp terminals and provides more creepage distance between adjacent circuits — useful when the harness carries power rather than signal. The 2-position count is fixed; if the BOM calls for 3 circuits, neither the JWPF nor NSH housing is a drop-in substitute because the pitch and keying differ entirely.
The J25MF-02V-K mates with the corresponding J2000 series plug housing (male pin side) of the same 2-position count and 4.00 mm pitch. Termination is via crimp — the female socket contacts (not included with the housing) are inserted into the cavities after crimping to the wire, then locked in place by the housing's internal lance.
