The S40B-PUDSS-1 is a 40-position, dual-row, right-angle through-hole header from JST's PUD series, on a 2.00mm pitch. It is the highest position-count variant among the PUD right-angle headers listed, offering 40 circuits in a compact board-to-cable interconnect. The full 4-wall shrouding and latch holder provide mechanical retention and polarization, reducing the risk of mis-mating in cable-to-board applications where vibration or strain is present.
Current rating and voltage ceiling
Each contact is rated 3A at 250V, typical for signal-level power and low-current distribution in this pitch class. The actual current per circuit should be derated when all 40 positions are loaded and ambient temperature approaches the 85°C upper limit.
