The 1-292206-7: This is a 17-position, single-row header from TE's Mini CT series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections at a 1.50 mm pitch. The right-angle orientation keeps the mated wire exit parallel to the PCB, useful in low-profile or side-exit enclosures. The shrouded 4-wall housing with a detent lock provides basic polarization and retention against accidental unmating in moderate-vibration environments. Contact finish is tin on both the mating surface and the solder post, rated for standard signal-level duty cycles.
Mounting and Termination Details
Through hole termination with kinked solder pins (0.118" post length) gives a secure mechanical anchor during wave solder. The right-angle body sits at a 0.193" insulation height above the board, leaving clearance for components underneath the header. The glass-filled nylon housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, suitable for equipment inside an enclosure requiring flame retardance. Operating temperature range is -30°C to 105°C.
