The 1274694-1: It is designed for RG-316 cable and ships as a two-piece kit that includes the connector body and a separate ferrule for the crimp termination. The right-angle exit keeps the cable routed parallel to the mating surface, which matters when the enclosure lid or adjacent components limit straight clearance.
It is built specifically for RG-316; the cable group determines the centre-pin and ferrule dimensions, so using it with RG-58 would give a poor impedance match and an unreliable crimp.
Build and Mating Life
Body and centre contact are beryllium copper with gold plating over the entire outer surface — the gold finish resists corrosion and keeps contact resistance low over 100 mating cycles. The snap-on fastening is quick to engage and disengage, which is convenient for field swaps, but 100 cycles is a moderate figure: it suits periodic reconnections in test or maintenance, not daily production-line cycling. For higher-cycle duty, a threaded SMA variant would be the better call.
