Product details

MMCX Jack for Board-Edge RF — 50 Ohm, 6 GHz, Snap-On

The 1408152-1: The snap-on fastening type gives quick connect-disconnect without tools, and the gold body finish on a brass body resists corrosion in repeated handling.

Mounting and Termination — Board Edge Cutout with Solder Shield

Mounting type is board edge, cutout; surface mount — the jack sits into a cutout at the PCB edge, with the shield termination soldered to the board ground plane. This gives a low-inductance return path critical for maintaining 50 Ohm impedance through the launch. The contact termination is also solder, so both centre pin and outer shield are soldered in one reflow pass. Dielectric material is PTFE, which keeps insertion loss low and impedance stable across the full -55°C to 155°C operating range.

Frequently asked questions

Is 1408152-1 obsolete?
