QMA Jack for RG-58 Class Cable — 50 Ohm, 6 GHz
The TE Connectivity 1408338-7 is a QMA-series jack (female socket) in a snap-on fastening style, rated for 50 Ohm impedance up to 6 GHz. It is designed for free-hanging (in-line) use on RG-58, RG-141, and RG-303 cables.
This jack accepts RG-58, RG-141, and RG-303 cable groups — the most common 50 Ohm coax types for short-run RF interconnects. The shield terminates via crimp (ferrule included), and the centre contact is solder-terminated. The kit includes the contact and ferrule, so no separate terminal order is needed for a single cable end.
RF Performance and Environmental Range
Insertion loss is 0.25 dB across the band, and the voltage rating is 335 V.
