4.20 mm pitch right-angle header for wire-to-board
The 1586043-4 is a dual-row, 4-position header from TE's VAL-U-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It uses a 4.20 mm pitch and a right-angle through-hole orientation, which keeps the wire exit parallel to the PCB — useful for low-profile enclosures where a straight header would block the lid. The housing is shrouded on all four sides, and a locking ramp on the mating face provides positive retention against vibration. A mounting flange adds mechanical hold-down to the board, reducing strain on the solder joints during cable flex.
Each tin-plated brass contact is rated 9 A at 600 VAC. The UL94 V-2 nylon housing is rated for flammability but is not intended for high-temperature reflow processes — this is a through-hole solder part, not SMT.
