6.35mm pitch, 6 positions, 12A — the board-to-wire workhorse
The 1586090-1: It carries 12A per circuit at 600VAC — enough for power distribution inside a control cabinet or appliance, not just signal-level wiring. The full 4-wall shrouding and locking ramp mean this header mates positively with the matching Universal MATE-N-LOK receptacle housing, and stays mated under vibration.
The contact tails are 0.155" (3.94mm) long, through-hole solder type. No press-fit tooling needed — wave solder or hand solder, same as any THT header. If your application requires V-0, check the series datasheet for alternate housings.
