Through-Hole Mount with Locking Ramp
The header mounts vertically through the PCB with 0.150" (3.81mm) post length, which is enough to clear a standard 1.6mm board and still have solder fillet visible on the bottom side. When you mate this header with a Commercial MATE-N-LOK receptacle, the ramp engages a latch on the receptacle housing. There's no secondary lock or TPA on this header — the ramp alone takes the axial load from cable strain. The contact shape is circular, which mates with standard Commercial MATE-N-LOK crimp socket terminals.
