20-position header for AMP-Latch ribbon-cable systems

Through-hole mounting with press-fit and solder options

Termination is listed as press-fit and solder — the pins are designed for through-hole insertion into a PCB, with the press-fit feature providing mechanical retention before soldering. The 0.174" (4.42 mm) post length gives enough tail for standard PCB thicknesses (1.6 mm) plus a solder fillet. The header includes a keying slot and mounting flange — the flange provides an additional mechanical anchor to the board, useful in applications where the cable assembly will see repeated flex or strain.
