6-position 1.00 mm pitch SMT right-angle header
The 1734709-6 is a 6-position single-row header from TE's High Performance Interconnect (HPI) series, on a 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch. It is a shrouded — 4 wall design, surface-mounted right-angle, so the mating axis runs parallel to the PCB. This is a board-to-cable/wire header — the shrouding protects the pins during mating and the 4-wall enclosure guides the cable-side receptacle into alignment. The right-angle orientation suits low-profile board-edge connections where vertical clearance is tight.
Solder retention and board-level fit
The insulation is natural-colour thermoplastic, glass-filled, rated UL94 V-0. The part is supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) packaging for automated pick-and-place.
