It accepts a Micro SIM card and uses a push-in, push-out (push-push) mechanism — the user pushes the card in to seat it, then pushes again to eject it, with no separate ejector button. The 7 (6 + 1) position count means six signal contacts plus one dedicated switch contact that closes when the card is fully inserted, signaling card presence to the host controller. This connector is used in mobile handsets, IoT modules, cellular gateways, and any embedded device that needs a removable SIM card. The 0.051" (1.30 mm) height above board keeps it low-profile enough for slim enclosures. The right-angle orientation means the card inserts parallel to the PCB, edge-on, which is the standard layout for a SIM slot on a main board.
The Tape & Reel (TR) packaging option is the standard for pick-and-place assembly lines; the Cut Tape (CT) option lets you buy smaller quantities for prototypes or low-volume builds without committing to a full reel.
