7-Position PCB Terminal Block with Rising Cage Clamp
It uses a screw-driven rising cage clamp to terminate wires from 16 AWG down to 30 AWG, with the clamp and screw both plated for corrosion resistance — brass-nickel on the clamp, stainless steel on the screw.
Screw Torque and Wire Termination
The rising cage clamp is actuated by an M1.6 screw with a recommended torque of 0.2 Nm (1.7 Lb-In). The cage lifts to trap the conductor against the top contact surface, giving a gas-tight connection that resists loosening under thermal cycling. The contact material is brass with tin plating, adequate for the rated current and typical for this class of terminal block where the screw clamp, not the contact plating, carries the mechanical retention.
