FPC interconnect with ZIF slide lock
The 4-1734592-3 is the 43-position member of TE Connectivity's 1734592 FPC connector family, using a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) slide-lock actuator and bottom-contact termination. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 250 V with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts, the connector accepts 0.30 mm FPC and mounts surface-mount right-angle at a 2.05 mm board height.
Pitch, thickness, and contact side
The 0.50 mm pitch and bottom-contact configuration define the FPC insertion orientation — the conductor pads must face down to mate with the contact beam. The 0.30 mm FPC thickness is the accepted range; the tapered cable end aids insertion under the slide lock.
