Gold contacts, ZIF slide lock
The 4-1734839-8 is the 48-position member of TE's 1734839 FPC connector line, using a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) slide lock actuator. Gold-plated contacts rated 0.5 A at 250 V, with a 0.50 mm pitch and a 2.05 mm height above board — the slide lock holds the FPC without a secondary latch.
0.30 mm FPC fit and routing
Accepts 0.30 mm thick FPC with a tapered cable end — the top-contact beam wipes the pad on insertion, and the slide lock provides positive retention without a secondary latch. The 0.50 mm pitch and 48 positions demand a tight board footprint; the solder retention feature aids reflow alignment.
