80-position board-to-board receptacle at 1.27 mm pitch
The 5-104078-7 is an 80-position, dual-row female socket receptacle from TE Connectivity's AMPMODU System 50 series, designed for board-to-board stacking. The through-hole termination and push-pull fastening type mean no locking latch — the board-to-board stack is held by the friction of the contacts and the alignment of the mating header.
Stack height and board spacing options
This receptacle supports two mated stacking heights: 11.43 mm and 12.57 mm, depending on the mating header selected. The 0.350" (8.89 mm) insulation height of the receptacle itself is fixed, so the stack height variation comes from the header's post length and the board thickness — the designer must verify the header's mating pin length to achieve the target z-height.
