75 Ohm HD-BNC Plug Kit for Broadcast Video and Test
The Amphenol 034-1026 is a 75 Ohm HD-BNC plug kit — the high-density BNC variant built for broadcast video, HD-SDI routing, and precision test instrumentation where the standard 50 Ohm BNC would mismatch the line impedance. The kit ships as three pieces: the connector body with a gold-plated phosphor bronze centre pin, a crimp ferrule, and the contact itself.
This kit is tooled for RG-122, 180, 180A, 180B, 195, Belden 1855, and Belden 1865A coax — all 75 Ohm cables with a dielectric diameter that matches the PTFE insulator bore. The shield is crimped via the included ferrule; the centre contact is crimped separately. No solder required.
How the 034-1026 Compares to Its Siblings
The 034-1037 is electrically identical — same 75 Ohm impedance, same 4 GHz ceiling, same cable group, same three-piece kit. The difference is in the centre contact material: the 034-1026 uses phosphor bronze, the 034-1037 uses beryllium copper. For a single crimp in a fixed installation the difference is academic; for repeated re-termination in a field-service kit the beryllium copper holds its spring force longer. The 034-1107-12G and 034-1121-12G are the 12G-SDI variants rated to 18 GHz — they use a different dielectric and a four-piece kit (adds an insulator) and are paired with Belden 4694R or 4855R cable only. If your signal path is 12G-SDI, step up to the 12G suffix; for 3G-SDI and below the 034-1026 covers the band.
