Actuation and Cable Retention
Zero insertion force (ZIF) actuation with a slide lock — the actuator opens the contact beams so the FPC slides in without force, then the slide lock clamps the cable in place, preventing pull-out during handling or vibration. The connector accepts 0.30 mm thick FPC — the contact wipe on insertion and the lock's positive retention eliminate the need for a secondary latch or adhesive tape.
