Rated 0.5A per contact — this is a signal-only connector. The limiting factor is the narrow 0.50mm pitch and the thin gold flash, not the contact cross-section. For power delivery above 0.5A per line, step up to a 1.00mm-pitch FPC connector. The LCP housing and PA9T actuator hold dimensional stability across this range — no warpage risk during reflow if the profile stays within the material limits. 20 mating cycles with a 2.00µin gold flash. That gold thickness is a thin flash — adequate for one or two reconnects during manufacturing and maybe one field-service event. If the application cycles the connector quarterly, the contact finish will wear through to the copper alloy base, increasing contact resistance.
