Board-Fit and Signal Routing
The 59453-041110ECHLF is a 4-position FPC connector on 0.020" (0.50mm) pitch, surface-mounted right-angle to the board. The 0.4A per-contact rating at 50V suits signal-level interconnects—sensor lines, configuration jumpers, or low-power data paths—rather than power delivery.
Position and Pitch Sizing
At 4 positions, this connector is the smallest member of the SFVL series in the 59453 base. The 0.50mm pitch sets the board footprint—standard for dense FPC routing, but the narrow pitch restricts current per circuit more than the contact itself. For a 5-position alternative, the 59453-051110EDHLF shares the same pitch, height, and current rating, adding one more signal line. The 59453-061110ECHLF extends to 6 positions. All use the same ZIF slide lock and gold contacts.
It is RoHS compliant and the housing meets UL94 V-0 for flame resistance.
Cable and Termination Check
The bottom-contact design means the FPC pads face down toward the PCB. The slide lock actuator clamps the FPC in place without insertion force—no secondary latch needed. Termination is solder to the board pads; the connector includes solder retention features to hold it during reflow.
