5-Pin FFC Header with 2.54mm Pitch and ZIF Lock
A Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) flip lock with a backlock feature secures the FFC without requiring insertion force — the actuator flips down to clamp the cable, and the backlock prevents accidental release under vibration.
The housing is blue with a black actuator, colour-coded for quick visual identification on the line. Termination is solder — the header pins are soldered to the PCB, while the FFC is clamped by the ZIF mechanism. No crimping or additional hardware required for the cable side; just strip the FFC to the correct length and lock the actuator.
Voltage rating is 500V, well above typical signal-level circuits. The tin contact finish is cost-effective for moderate-cycle applications — if your design sees frequent reconnection (hundreds of cycles), consider a gold-plated alternative in the Clincher™ range.
