0.50 mm Pitch, 12 Positions — ZIF Slide Lock Keeps the FPC Seated
The F32R-1A7H1-11012: The zero insertion force (ZIF) actuator uses a slide lock to clamp the FPC — no insertion force on the contacts, which protects the thin flex circuit pads from damage during assembly. That gold layer is a flash grade — enough for 30 mating cycles per the spec, which suits moderate reconnect duty in consumer or industrial control modules where the cable isn't cycled daily.
Board Fit and Routing — Right-Angle, 2.00 mm Stack Height
The actuator is halogen-free polyamide (PA9T). Both materials handle the reflow temperatures typical for lead-free solder profiles.
Cable Compatibility — 0.33 mm FPC, Straight Entry
The contacts are on the bottom side of the connector, so the FPC's conductive pads must face downward when inserted. The slide lock then clamps the cable without requiring insertion force on the contacts themselves.
