Panel-Mount Plug Housing for 4-Circuit Harnesses
This is a panel-mount version with snap-in clips for installation into a chassis cutout, keeping the connector fixed while the mating half is plugged and unplugged. The housing accepts crimp contacts that are terminated to wire before insertion, a standard field-replaceable approach for serviceable harness assemblies.
Position Count and Series Siblings
The PALR-04V is the 4-position member of the PALR panel-mount plug family. The same housing design is available in 5 positions (PALR-05V) and 6 positions (PALR-06V), all sharing the 2.00 mm pitch, locking ramp, and PA66 material. The position count is the only selection variable — the footprint scales linearly with the number of circuits, so the 4-position version fits a 4-wire harness where the 5- or 6-position would leave unused cavities. A free-hanging variant, PALR-04VF, uses the same 4-position layout and locking ramp but omits the panel-mount clips for in-line applications where the connector floats on the harness rather than anchoring to a panel.
