Screw Termination and Wire Preparation
Termination is via screw clamp — strip the wire to 6 mm, insert into the cage, and tighten to 0.2 Nm. The 0.2 Nm torque spec is the factory-recommended value; over-torquing can damage the conductor or housing, under-torquing risks loose connections under vibration. The wire range covers 16-30 AWG, which spans most signal and low-power control wiring. For 16 AWG, the screw clamp provides a gas-tight connection; for finer 30 AWG, ensure the stripped conductor fills the cage adequately.
The free-hanging design allows the plug to be inserted or removed without tools.
