PEEK-insulated ring for 22-24 AWG
The 1577618-1 is the #4 stud, 22-24 AWG member of TE's PIDG and Strato-Therm ring terminal line, insulated with polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and terminated by a serrated crimp. Nickel-plated copper contact, 0.032" (0.81mm) thick, accepts wire insulation diameters from 0.035" to 0.075" (0.89mm to 1.91mm).

The 1577618-1 is an insulated PEEK terminal; the Solistrand, Strato-Therm 133521-1 is non-insulated, gold-plated, and uses a #8 stud for 18-22 AWG — the 1577618-1's PEEK insulation and serrated termination suit applications requiring a dielectric barrier at the crimp. Solistrand 1377172-7 and 1377172-9 are non-insulated tin-plated terminals for 14-16 AWG with #8 and 1/4 stud sizes respectively — the 1577618-1 targets a smaller wire gauge and a different stud size.
