Crimp-on disconnect, PIDG insulated
The 165536-1 is a female quick-disconnect terminal in TE's PIDG / Positive Lock EX series, accepting 13.5-15.5 AWG wire with a 0.250" (6.35mm) tab width. The non-mating end is insulated with blue PVC, and the tin-plated brass contact is crimp-terminated for free-hanging inline use.
Tab width and wire gauge across the series
The 165536-1's 0.250" tab width and 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness match the 1-1627194-4 Utilux terminal, but that peer is non-insulated and accepts 15-18 AWG — a different wire range and no insulation sleeve. The 1377175-8 Fastin-Faston PIDG terminal shares the same blue insulation and non-mating end insulation style, but uses a wider 0.312" (7.92mm) tab and accepts 14-16 AWG — not a direct tab-width or wire-gauge swap for the 165536-1.
