This housing ships without contacts. It accepts either male or female crimp terminals, making it a gender-neutral shell — the same housing can serve as the plug or receptacle half depending on which contact you load. The crimp termination requires the matching Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK terminal, ordered separately. For a single-wire inline splice or a repair splice in an existing harness, this 1-position housing is the building block.
