Right-angle header for wire-to-board disconnects
With 18 positions loaded across two rows at 3.50mm pitch and 5.90mm row spacing, the board footprint requires a larger keep-out than a 2.54mm-pitch header — plan for 0.138" (3.50mm) between adjacent pins and 0.232" (5.90mm) between rows. The contact length after the solder tail is 0.157" (4.00mm), which sets the through-hole depth on the PCB. The insulation height of 0.622" (15.80mm) gives clearance under the shroud for mating plug housings.
