Sizing the Harness: Pitch, Rows, and Contact Selection
The 0.156" pitch and 0.181" row spacing are the critical mechanical dimensions for selecting the mating header — the header's pin field must match this grid exactly. The 3-row layout packs 15 circuits into a narrower width than a 2-row alternative, which helps when routing the wire bundle through a tight cable duct or grommet. The crimp termination allows field repair and custom wire lengths, but the terminal must be fully seated and the latch lock engaged to reach the rated retention.
