What this 6-position header fits
Silver plating at 200 µinch on the mating face is unusual for a signal connector — it carries higher current density than tin at the same contact size and resists fretting corrosion in moderate-temperature environments. The 13.97mm insulation height gives clearance for wire dress in the mated assembly.
Board layout and footprint check
The 0.145" post length (3.68mm) suits standard 1.6mm PCBs — the solder tail protrudes enough for a fillet but does not crowd the secondary side. The temperature ceiling is set by the polyamide insulation, not the silver contacts — derate current above 85°C per the series derating curve.
