At a 2.50mm pitch, it carries a single row of female socket cavities and uses a latch lock for vibration-resistant retention — common in machinery where a mated pair sees continuous shock or cable strain. The polarizing key prevents a mis-mated connection in multi-connector harness layouts, saving a debug trip on the line.
You order the matching crimp socket terminal separately (TE part numbers in the Dynamic D-2100 terminal family). The housing accepts the terminal, then the crimped wire assembly locks into the cavity. If your BOM line only lists this housing, the harness doesn't build.
