3-Position Waterproof Plug Housing for Harsh Environments
The TE Connectivity 2013891-1 is a 3-position plug housing from the Dynamic D-1 series, designed as a free-hanging (in-line) female socket connector for wire-to-wire or wire-to-board applications where a sealed interconnect is required. The housing is molded in black thermoplastic, polyester, glass-filled material rated for -30°C to 105°C operation, and carries a waterproof rating — suited for automotive underhood, industrial washdown, or outdoor equipment harnesses where moisture ingress is a concern. This is a housing only — contacts are not included and must be ordered separately as crimp terminals.
Mating and Contact Selection
The 2013891-1 mates with a Dynamic D-1 series 3-position header (not included). The female socket contacts are crimp-terminated to the wire before insertion into the housing — the latch holder engages audibly when the plug is fully seated against the header. For the crimp terminal, select the Dynamic D-1 series female socket contact rated for the wire gauge your application requires; the housing accepts the standard D-1 crimp terminal.
