6-Position Generation Y Receptacle Housing
Crimp Termination — Contacts Ordered Separately
The crimp termination allows the harness builder to terminate wires to the correct length before inserting them into the housing, which simplifies rework: a bad crimp means replacing one terminal, not the whole assembly. The latch holder doubles as a terminal position assurance (TPA) feature — it locks the contacts in place after insertion, preventing push-back during mating or vibration.
