What this 2-position housing does in a harness
The TE Connectivity 2058299-1 is a 2-circuit blade and receptacle housing, the inline shell for a discrete wire pair. It uses a 0.157" (4.00mm) pitch — wide enough to keep the two wires separated for strain relief and to match a standard 4.00 mm header footprint. The PBT housing in natural colour is a standard industrial-grade material with good chemical resistance for the temperature band. This is a housing only — it does not come with contacts. You need the matching crimp terminal (check the TE application drawing for the correct part number) and a hand or automatic crimp tool. The crimp termination style means the wires are attached before the housing is assembled, which is typical for field-serviceable harnesses.
