Sealed 3-Position Receptacle for Tab Contacts — 3.50mm Pitch, IP67
The black polycarbonate (PC) housing carries an IP67 rating — dust-tight and waterproof when mated with the matching plug, making it suited for outdoor, washdown, or under-hood harness applications.
Current and Voltage — Wire-Gauge Dependent, 400V Creepage
The 400V voltage rating at 3.50mm pitch is a strong signal that the SlimSeal housing has adequate creepage for industrial or automotive power circuits — not just low-voltage signal. The current rating is not a single number: 3.5A when terminated with 22-24 AWG wire, 5A with 18-20 AWG. That means the limiting factor is the wire's temperature rise inside the sealed cavity, not the contact itself. For a harness builder, this means the same housing can serve a 3.5A sensor circuit or a 5A actuator circuit by swapping the wire gauge, as long as the tab contact is rated for the same current.
Mating Cycles and Field Replacement — 30 Cycles, Seal Wear
Rated for 30 mating cycles, this housing is not designed for frequent disconnect-reconnect duty. The IP67 seal compresses each time the connector is mated, and after 30 cycles the seal may no longer guarantee the IP rating. For a field-service technician, this means the housing should be treated as a semi-permanent connection — plan for replacement if the harness is disconnected more than a few times over its life. The latch lock provides audible feedback on engagement, but the seal wear is the real cycle-life limit.
