Mating Half and Terminal Fit
This plug mates with the corresponding MCP 1.5K/2.8 receptacle header (typically a right-angle or vertical PCB header with matching 0.217" row spacing). The tab contacts inside this housing accept the mating female receptacle terminals. The TPA feature must be in the open position during terminal insertion, then pushed closed to lock each terminal in its cavity. A missing or incomplete TPA lock is a common cause of intermittent connections in high-vibration assemblies.
