What This 1-Position Plug Housing Does
The TE Connectivity 350865-1 is a single-position plug housing from the Universal MATE-N-LOK series. It accepts either male or female crimp contacts, making it the basic building block for a modular in-line connector system. Typical use is in appliance, automotive, and industrial power and signal harnesses where you build the position count by ganging individual housings.
You select the crimp terminal based on wire gauge and current: the Universal MATE-N-LOK terminal family covers both male tabs and female sockets. The housing accepts either gender, so the same shell works on the plug or receptacle side depending on which contact you load.
Single-Position — Build Your Circuit Count
One position per housing. For a multi-circuit harness, you stack individual 350865-1 housings side-by-side or use the multi-position versions in the same series. The single-row layout and locking ramp geometry are consistent across the Universal MATE-N-LOK line, so a 1-position plug mates with a 1-position receptacle without alignment issues.
