Housing-only shell for 1.27 mm FFC
The 487544-3 is a 6-position FFC receptacle housing from the TE AMPMODU System 50 series. It accepts 0.05-0.08 mm thick FFC cables at a 0.050" (1.27 mm) pitch, single row. The housing is black polyester rated UL94 V-0 and includes a detent lock for retention.

The 1.27 mm pitch and 6 positions match a narrow board footprint. The FFC thickness range of 0.05-0.08 mm must be matched to the mating crimp terminal's beam gap — a thicker cable may not seat fully, a thinner one may lose contact force. The detent lock holds the mating plug against moderate vibration.
