Poke-In Wire Receptacle for Board-Edge Power Entry
Wire Gauge Fit and Termination
This receptacle accepts 18 AWG, 20 AWG, and 22 AWG wire — the three common sizes for board-level power and signal runs. The poke-in mechanism eliminates the crimp step: strip the wire to the recommended length, push it into the contact slot, and the internal spring holds it against the tin-plated surface. The solder termination on the board side fixes the receptacle to the PCB, so the wire entry point stays stable under vibration.
Board Layout and Orientation
The housing comes in natural or red, with the red variant often used for polarity or voltage-level marking on the assembly line.
