14-Position Plug Housing for Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK Harnesses
The TE Connectivity 770582-1 is a 14-position plug housing from the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK series, built for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-wire or wire-to-board harness applications. It uses a 4.14 mm pitch and arranges the 14 circuits across two rows, with a latch lock that snaps the housing to its mating header and holds it under vibration. A key procurement point: contacts are not included with this housing. You order the male or female crimp terminals separately — the housing accepts either gender, giving you flexibility to build the plug side of the mate as needed.
Pitch and Position Count — Matching the BOM Line
The 4.14 mm pitch is the same across the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK plug family, so the board footprint for the mating header is consistent across position counts. Because the housing is a two-row layout, the 14 positions occupy a 2-by-7 grid. That gives you a narrower connector body than a single-row 14-position would, which helps when routing multiple harness branches into a tight junction box.
Mating and Termination
This plug housing mates with the matching Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK receptacle header. The latch lock on the plug engages the header's locking ramp for a positive click.
