What This 2-Position Plug Housing Does
The TE Connectivity 936248-2 is a 2-position plug housing from the Multi-Lock series, designed as the female socket side of a wire-to-wire or wire-to-board interconnect. It is a free-hanging (in-line) plug with a latch lock for positive retention when mated.
Mating and Contact Selection
This housing accepts female socket crimp terminals that are ordered separately — the contacts are not included with the housing. For the mating half, you will need the corresponding Multi-Lock header (male pin) housing. The latch lock on this plug engages with the mating header's locking ramp to prevent accidental disconnection under vibration.
