The housing is listed as sealed, which means the mated assembly with the correct plug and seal plug (where applicable) can withstand splash, pressure wash, and brief immersion — typical for engine compartment harnesses and exposed chassis connections. The -40°C to 100°C operating range covers cold start and underhood soak conditions; the glass-filled PBT housing retains dimensional stability across that span without cracking or creep.
This is a crimp-and-poke housing: the female socket contacts are inserted into the cavity after crimping to the wire, and retained by a lance or lock within the housing. The 5.00mm pitch allows for 20-18 AWG wire with the matching Junior Power Timer terminal.
