The right-angle exit helps route the cable tight to a bulkhead or enclosure wall without a hard bend.

This plug is dimensioned for Belden 9913, Belden 9914, and LMR-400 — all low-loss 50 Ohm cables with a similar dielectric diameter and braid coverage. The shield is crimped, the centre contact soldered.
