Cable Termination and Contact Construction
The body is nickel-plated brass, the dielectric is PTFE, and the housing colour is natural. For a field-terminated SMA on a coaxial cable, the crimp tool die set must match the ferrule OD for the RG-58 cable group.
Operating Range and Deployment Context
The IP67 seal is effective only when mated with a compatible IP67-rated SMA jack — the O-ring seats at the interface, not the cable entry. Free-hanging (in-line) mounting means this plug is intended for cable assembly, not panel bulkhead; if a panel feed-through is needed, pair it with a bulkhead jack of the same sealing class.
