Board Fit and Routing Reality
The bottom-contact design means the FFC pads face down toward the board, so the connector sits low at 2.00mm above the PCB — useful when the z-height budget is tight. Gold plating at 3.00µin on the contact face and phosphor bronze base metal handle the 30 mating cycles rated here — adequate for a set-and-forget interconnect inside a consumer or industrial assembly where the cable isn't cycled often.
Accepts standard 0.50mm pitch FFC or FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm or 0.33mm — the straight or tapered cable end both work with the flip-lock actuator. The ZIF mechanism requires no insertion force on the contacts — slide the cable in, flip the black actuator down, and the contacts wipe the pads.
RoHS compliant.
