Contacts Not Included — Order Separately
The housing ships without contacts — the note is explicit. You need to order the matching CST-100 II female crimp socket terminals separately. The contacts are crimp-terminated to the wire before insertion into the housing. If you are filling a BOM line for a full connector assembly, factor in the terminal part number and the required crimp tool.
Locking Ramp and Free-Hanging Mount
The locking ramp fastening type gives an audible click when the housing seats fully onto the mating header. In a free-hanging harness, that ramp is what keeps the pair mated under cable tug and vibration — no secondary latch or screw lock needed.
